Garden Sundries

Our emphasis is on plants and what you need to grow them. Our selection of garden sundries reflect this philosophy in as far as, we do not stock candles, vases, furniture, ponds, patio slabs, conservatories, sheds or the latest version of “pan pipe greatest hits”.

We do have an excellent range of quality chemicals from the world’s best manufacturers, composts and growing media from the world’s biggest producer. Terracotta and plastic pots are supplied by two of the biggest companies in the country. General garden sundries and bird care are from, amongst others, Gardman , the country’s biggest sole supplier of these types of goods.

We hope that we can apply the rule of quality at reasonable prices, to our sundries as well as our plants. To achieve this we tend to select similar chemicals from one or two manufacturers to ensure that you have choice. We also try to filter out some of the dross and unnecessary items that can fog your decision making. Combine our carefully selected items with our knowledge of them and you should be able to find a solution to any problem. Insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers, deterrents, lawn care, netting, compost etc everything you need to maintain the plant side of your garden.

We offer various styles of compost and growing medium such as multipurpose compost, John Innes compost, peat free compost, moss peat, gro-bags, ericaceous compost as well as soils conditioners such as composted horse manure, chipped and composted bark and sedge peat.

With all sundries, our buying power helps us to keep prices very keen. Often our price for a product will be less than the big centres. With “Levington” compost this is regularly the case because we use this as our commercial compost of choice and our retail choice.
